About Us
The school is located to the west of the City of Peterborough in the Longthorpe area and is within walking distance of the city centre. Nearby schools include Jack Hunt School, which registers pupils aged 11 – 18 years.
Longthorpe Primary School is a vibrant, diverse and happy school for children aged 4-11 years old . Our pupils are well behaved, eager to learn and enjoy all that school has to offer. Our ethos is to empower children through a ‘Learning to Learn’ approach that incorporates relevant questions of inquiry and the 6Cs (Character, Citizenship, Collaboration, Communication, Critical and Creative thinking), attributes and skills that will help to prepare them for their futures.
Longthorpe Primary School is part of the Peterborough Keys Academy Trust (PKAT) consisting of a group of five Peterborough schools: Longthorpe Primary School, Middleton Primary School, Ravensthorpe Primary School, Thorpe Primary School and Jack Hunt School. We work together to ensure pupil achievement, well being and strive to provide the best experience for our pupils. You can access the PKAT website https://pkat.co.uk/
